MP3 February Newsletter
February 2024
Greetings MP3 Families!
Here we are at the halfway point of the school year. While it is always better to look at the glass as being "half full," we still have half a school year to go. The second semester is a great time to do a mid-year check-up as an opportunity to help your child set goals in the learning process as well as to celebrate all the good work that has taken place this school year. Thank you to our parents, students, and staff for all their great work supporting teaching and learning.
Your proud principal,
Michelle Siadal

Black History Month Resources
February is Black History Month and a great time to reflect on how the stories and experiences of Black Americans are an integral part of educational content. I found some excellent resources that I hope you find useful during Black History Month and all year round. Try out Edutopia for ideas to infuse Black History across content areas and PBS for ideas about expanding thinking about Black History.
Monthly Reviews Due (February 1-5)
We want to hear from you!
For us to continue to improve as a school district and as a school, it is important for us to understand how we are doing in providing a quality education for all students.
Please take a moment to complete this annual survey which helps us better understand areas we need to focus on in order to provide the best quality education for our students. This survey will also serve as data for us as we continue to work toward meeting our goals outlined in Our Commitments, our strategic plan. The survey asks how you feel about several topics including school communication, expectations for learning and engaging with teachers and administrators.
Please complete this survey by March 8.
