Fun Lunch Volunteers
Please help volunteer during lunch!
We greatly appreciate all of you who are able to and/or considering volunteering during lunch at South Park. We offer lunches to over 200 students every school day and cannot do so without your help! We welcome everyone's involvement and no formal experience required! You can sign up to volunteer as many times as you like this fall, but we kindly ask you to commit only to dates you know you can be there to help as a courtesy to Marla’s Lunch Program. When you cancel, it impacts being able to distribute during lunch hours so thank you in advance for your help and support. Volunteer days are Wednesdays & Fridays - time is 11:10 am to 12:30 pm.

NEW PTO Website - Step 1
https://southparkpto.membershiptoolkit.com
Step 1: Register with the website
This is a new website for South Park, so EVERYONE will need to create a login and password.
Registration includes completing the Parent/Family and Student Information & Directory/Publish Preference forms.
PTO Directory & Membership - Steps 2 & 3
Step 2: Purchase the membership
Buying a $25 membership for our PTO will allow you access to our mobile/online directory. It also helps fund events and purchases for the entire school. This is a yearly PTO subscription.
**If you were a member last year, you will still need to sign up again.
https://southparkpto.membershiptoolkit.com to purchase the Membership/Household Directory.
Step 3: Download the Membership Toolkit App
Once you've purchased the Directory, download the "Membership Toolkit" App for free in either the Apple Store or in Google Play. To filter by grade or by teacher, click on the funnel icon in the upper right corner.
This APP will be your "virtual" phone directory as well as give you ability to receive PTO announcements. Being part of the PTO directory is one of the only ways other parents have access to your contact information when they would like to schedule playdates, invite to birthday parties, and receive classroom information from the Room Parents.
Have any questions with Membership purchase - visit the PTO at Curriculum Night or
Contact Karee Schwartz: karee.schwartz@outlook.com

Fun Lunch Program
Looking to shake things up from homemade lunch? Fun Lunch is a tasty, nutritious alternative that also raises money for South Park. For each lunch purchased for your kids, Fun Lunch Program Founder & CEO Marla Stone donates a percentage to the school.
Registration will open on Thursday, August 8 for students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. We will continue to offer lunch 5 days a week and are excited to introduce new restaurants and additional menu items this fall based on feedback from our parent community last school year. Gluten free and vegetarian options are also available daily. Weekly deadline to order will be Tuesday at 3pm for the following week.
- To order, go to: http://www.marlaslunchordering.com on your computer or phone
- First time ordering, use our school code, SPE296, when creating an account.
- Returning users - don't forget to update student profiles with grade/teacher for the new school year.
- Any questions on menu items, contact Marla at marlaslunchinfo@gmail.com or call 224-269-0068.
- First day of Fun Lunch begins Tuesday, August 20th
Contact Judith Feldman Belofsky (judithbelofsky@gmail.com) with questions.
Classroom Party Photographer Sign-Up
Classroom Photographers for parties will be different this year; (1) photographer per grade level.
This person will be responsible for taking pictures of each classroom party in their grade and submitting the pictures to the yearbook.
There are three parties (Halloween (10/31), Winter (12/20), Valentines Day (2/14); therefore we can have a different photographer each time.

2019-2020 South Park Yearbook - We need YOUR help!
As you take pictures of your kids at South Park during the 2019-2020 school year, please consider submitting to yearbook so we can make sure EVERYBODY is included!
Especially group shots as we try to include as many kids as possible for all of our events.
There are two EASY ways to do this:
1) Download the HJ eShare app on your phone (free) and use our code: SPPenguins
Please enter your child’s grade and a brief description of photo (ex: "first day of school", "Halloween", "Bingo Night", etc.).
You do NOT need to list all names of everybody in the shot - just the grade they are in
2) If you are on your computer, you can also email your photos directly to one of our Yearbook coordinators - Andrey Shinkarev at andrsh21@gmail.com
If you email him directly, please just include the grades of the kids in the picture(s) and event name.
The SP Yearbook Committee thanks you for your help & support!
