TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

May 2 - May 6

We are super excited to celebrate our amazing IVA Teachers & Staff on May 2nd-6th! Teachers and Staff will be on campus Wednesday, May 4th in the afternoon. We are organizing a surprise video for our superstars and it will be shown to them on Wednesday when they arrive at school. Please encourage your student to record a message of appreciation with this link. Recordings are due May 2nd. If you'd like to celebrate your teacher with a gift, it may be dropped off at the front office next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (5/2-5/4) for staff to receive them on Wednesday afternoon.

We have a week of activities for our students to participate in the celebration our Teachers & Staff.

MULTICULTUAL CELEBRATION

Join us in celebrating our IVA school's cultural diversity with our First Annual Multicultural Event. Share your culture with our community! If you're interested in representing your culture, please click here to fill out a Google Form and a link will be sent to you to record a video. Videos will be compiled by culture and shared with our school community on May 13th. We welcome all families to participate!

We are currently in 17th Place for the Earn N Learn Marketplace Program. This is a program where we can earn funds to support our PTA and school by shopping and dining at The MarketPlace. If you have unsubmitted receipts dated 9/1/21 - 4/30/22 and you'd like to support us, please send us a picture of your receipt and we will submit it for you to count towards our PTA. The higher our placement the more money we can earn.

Earlier this year, IUSD Virtual Academy PTA applied for School of Excellence for our school. Digital Safety is our focus area for this program. For the month of February, we featured Digital Safety Guides in our Newsletter and Website. We compiled the Parent's Guides on our website and they may be accessed by clicking here.

We are still seeking Room Parents in some classrooms. Room Parents are essential to facilitate communication between the PTA, teacher, and families. Responsibilities include communication with the PTA and emailing PTA information/updates to your teacher and classroom parents. We will provide a quick training/tutorial. You are a key to our success!

Help our school earn dollars! The Market Place is a great place to shop for your everyday needs or for that little something special. Shop and log your receipts to earn money for IUSD Virtual Academy PTA! Earn & Learn runs from September 1 through April 30. Plus, the school with the most dollars logged each month will earn a $250 bonus. Limit one bonus prize per school. Submit your receipts to help us earn $250 to $3,000 for our PTA.
