PRINCIPAL UPDATE
We had a wonderful treat on Friday afternoon with a performance by some talented WHS dancers. Thank you to Deb Finnell, Theater Arts & Dance Teacher at WHS and the WHS dancers for a fun-filled dance performance.
We believe strongly in keeping the lines of communication open between school and home as this is the best way to ensure we are meeting the academic and social emotional needs of all students at Northeast. With that being said, social media is not the platform for these conversations. This form of communication is not appropriate and school personnel have been instructed not to respond on social media platforms. WALTHAM YOUTH LACROSSE
Registration for Waltham Youth Lacrosse is open! We are looking for new and experienced boys and girls from grades K-8 to join the Waltham Lacrosse community.
The boys are a part of Mass Youth Lacrosse (MYL) which represents most towns in Massachusetts while the girls play in the Founders Girls Lacrosse League. Practices are at Waltham High one-to-two weekday nights (and/or Saturday mornings) depending on age group. Home games are played on Sundays at Waltham High School. Practices, weather permitting, will begin in March with games scheduled to begin in early April. If there are any questions please feel free to reach out to John O'Brien (jobrien32@hotmail.com).

NORTHEAST PTO
Harlem Wizards are coming to town! Friday, February 3rd
Kennedy Middle School PTO will be hosting the Harlem Wizards on Friday, February 3th! It's been a few years since the Wizards were here so for those of you unfamiliar - this is a fun, family event where the Harlem Wizards come play a game of basketball against Waltham teachers.
Our very own Dr. Ostayan and Ms. Waddick will be tearing it up on the court, so you won't want to miss it!!

Northeast Free Little Library is up! Our library is stocked, but running low for refills! If you have any books you'd like to donate, you can also drop them to Daniella Ricci (Circle Drive) -- Daniella has offered to collect book donations, as well as make sure it remains stocked.
