Mill Valley Weekly

Mill Valley values the input of students and wants to begin growing future leaders. This year we have selected ten 3rd grade students to be a part of our Mill Valley Student Council. Students were asked to complete an application and were selected on their responses and ability to follow the Mill Valley expectations of being respectful, responsible and kind. This student leadership group will meet twice a month with Mrs. Schrot, Mrs. Schiessl and Miss Schmidt, who are the student council advisors. Please join us in congratulating this year's student council members!

With the cold and snow season just around the corner, this is a friendly reminder to make sure your child is coming to school with all the appropriate gear to stay warm at recess. Students will go outside for fresh air 2 times a day unless the windchill is below zero.

In addition please familiarize yourself with the district’s protocol for closing school due to inclement weather HERE.

We would like to remind everyone that toys from home, including Pokemon cards, are to be left at home. They are not allowed on the bus or at recess.

MV students will have so much fun secretly shopping for the holidays.
