Joe and Hannah have been patiently anticipating this day for a very long time! Joe and Hannah will be having an open ceremony so all are welcome to attend. There will be a short reception in the church gym following the ceremony. Joe and Hannah would love to have your support on this special day!

On April 30, 2016, Joe, Hannah, and some friends from their Bible study group went hiking to Cullowhee Falls. Along the way, we all goofed off together and stopped to cool off at a swimming hole. After about 2 1/2 hours we finally made it to the waterfall. We enjoyed lunch together and then Joe mentioned that he wanted to hike up to the higher part of the falls. Once we got to the top, our friend took our picture (Hannah's request). After two pictures, Joe said to his friend, "Hold on, take one more". Next thing Hannah knew, Joe was down on one knee asking her to be his wife. It was truly an amazing moment. One they will cherish forever.

After a few minutes alone, Joe and Hannah hiked back down to the lower part of the falls to tell their friends the good news! The rest of the day was spent making phone calls and celebrating the future.
