We are excited to return to school in-person, five days a week!

There are a few required health and safety protocols in place to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. When everyone works together, we anticipate we can have uninterrupted, face-to-face learning in all of our classrooms.

Face coverings are required indoors for all students, staff, and visitors. We will maintain three feet of physical distancing, to the extent possible. We will practice good hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette. We will maximize the use of outdoor learning spaces when possible, so everyone gets frequent mask breaks.

Summer construction projects are wrapping up at our schools. Thanks to voters who passed the 2020 Bond, crews have been busy making much needed repairs and improvements at some of our facilities. Look for improved secure entries, upgraded lighting, and new finishes. This is just the first phase of our bond improvements. More work will happen next summer at other buildings.

We are excited to unveil four new, inclusive playgrounds after school starts. Schools that didn't receive playground upgrades this summer will in the future.

All school meals are free for all students for the 2021-22 school year. Students will have to provide their PIN to receive free meals, but will not be charged.

While an application for free and reduced price lunch is not required to receive free meals, you are encouraged to fill out an application if you may qualify. A new application is required each year. Students receiving free or reduced price meal benefits are eligible for reduced or waived fees in school program activities and athletics.

As students return to class, our focus is on re-establishing connections! We want to ensure all students know they're supported and cared for as we return to full-time, in-person learning.

And we're working to improve our connections with you! Our dedicated staff is committed to keeping you informed. Our schools are streamlining communications. You'll receive your weekly newsletters on Wednesdays at 2pm, beginning next week. Any important news updates will come as needed.

We know we're all in this together for one reason: our kids! When we collectively come together with students at the center of all we do, we build meaningful connections that lead to improved academic and social-emotional growth for all students. Thank you for sharing your children with us.
