I am so glad to be back after time away with surgery! I had a great week back with students and staff!
We want to thank you for your generosity in stocking our cabinets with snacks for staff! It's a fun way to show them love and appreciation!
In observing classroom learning opportunities this week, I saw students deeply engaged in inquiry and exploration (see owl pellet dissection pictures below), working on honing elaboration in writing, collaborating and extending learning with Extra Learning Opportunities (ELOs), and using foundational math skills to solve more challenging problems. Students also worked on exploring different products for thinking through modeling by teachers and then trying it on their own. Teachers are deeply engaged in a book study that goes deeper into inquiry mindset. We love learning together!
