From the Nurse

SNACKS: Please remember to send in a healthy snack for your child every day (including Wednesdays).

ILLNESS: If your child is out sick and/or has been diagnosed with anything, please notify the nurse and request a note from your pediatrician to excuse the absence.

ATTENTION FIFTH GRADE PARENTS: Postural screening (“scoliosis screening”) will begin in April for all students in Grade 5. Per DPH guidelines, students in grades 5,6,7,8,9 are screened annually for scoliosis. If you want your child to opt out of this screening, please send a note to Mrs. Stiles.

REMINDER FOR THIRD GRADE PARENTS: Thank you for those who have sent in an updated physical exam. Grade 4 is one of the grades DPH requires physical exam documentation in school (K, 4, 7 and 10). In preparation for next year, if your child has had an annual check up anytime this year (after September 1, 2022), please send in a copy to school in an envelope labeled “for the nurse.” Thank you!

The Marshfield Road Runners Youth Track Club, Marshfield Boys and Girls Club, Marshfield Districtwide PTO and Furnace Brook Middle School XC/Track & Field are excited to announce the that the 6th Annual Marshfield Elementary School Invitational will take place Wednesday 4/26/2023 at the Marshfield Boys and Girls Club (37 Proprietor's Drive, Marshfield) with check-in beginning at 3:00 PM.
