April Newsletter 2023
Amy Belle Elementary
Principal's Corner- Mrs. Kohel
Happy Spring! I hope you and your family enjoyed your spring break! It is a long stretch after spring break until the end of the school year, but with the weather improving it is always an exciting time. It is important that students stay focused on their school work as schedules get busy with spring activities. Please make sure to look at school communications, help support students to complete work at home and check-in with them to see how they are feeling about school. We are here to work with families to help students have the best experience possible!
This month, as a school community, we are working on courage. I love to hear from families when their child shares about the character work we are doing or shares an example of how their child demonstrated the skills at home. Ask your child what courage looks like and if they can give you examples!
PTA will be providing some fun reading experiences this month. Our Read-A-Thon and Scholastic book fair are exciting opportunities for students and families to engage in reading. Communication will be coming regarding these activities.
Sincerely,
Katie Kohel
