A MESSAGE FROM OUR SCHOOL PRINCIPAL:

Hat Day

Get your hats ready! On Thursday, March 7 we are having a hat day in honor of a Primary Montessori student who is undergoing chemotherapy. It will cost only $1 to wear your hat. The proceeds from this hat day will go to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which treats the toughest childhood and pediatric cancer. A Primary Montessori student will be around to collect the money on that day. Thank you for contributing to this worthwhile cause.

Middle School Music Programs

All of our 5th grade students were recently visited by band, chorus, and orchestra students from Summit Parkway Middle School. Each ensemble performed for our students, the directors introduced their middle school programs, and our students asked any questions they had concerning the middle school music classes. If your 5th grade child is interested in participating in band, chorus, or orchestra and will be attending a Richland Two middle school next year, the district is asking you to indicate that interest by completing an online registration form by March 31st. You can access the form as follows:

I have a limited number of paper brochures only available for those with no internet access. Please have your child come by my music room to pick one up if this applies to your situation and you would like to register your child for a middle school music program. If you have any questions concerning middle school music registration please feel free to contact me.
