Due to the recent influx of matching fund income, the Cedar Park PTC Board is proud to announce the successful fulfillment of the 2019-20 PTC budget. BOOM!

Matching funds are an invaluable resource for the continued success of the PTC's efforts to buoy the programs and classrooms of Cedar Park. Without this income, our PTC budget would have fallen short.

BRAVO to the Cedar Park students & staff who made the recent productions of The Giver and Gathering Blue another success!

Director & Cedar Park drama teacher, Mikaela Gladstone-Saucedo was pleased with the effort. "Audiences were receptive, and the kids had a great time," she shares.

Thank you to all who attended, participated, and made these productions a memorable part of the CPMS experience.

Auditions for the Cedar Park Onstage winter play, Check, Please, are right after break, on Thursday, January 16th. Audition packets will be available in the theatre call board in A Hall. Interested students should grab a packet and fill it out.

Check, Please is a compilation of three one-act comedies about the hilarity of blind dates with very colorful characters.

Huge thanks to Cedar Park parents, Pam Ross & Nancy McCartney, for reviving the Cedar Park PACK Store! These motivated women recently stepped up to provide leadership for a long-time CPMS tradition that offers fun & prizes to our motivated students.

The PACK store is a school-wide incentive program, encouraging Perseverance, Acceptance, Courage, and Knowledge. Teachers reward students with tokens for participation, consideration, or any other positive action. Students use those tokens to purchase some awesome prizes at the PACK Store, which is open during designated lunch hours. Additionally, pop-up pizza or donut days are offered, where students can cash in their hoarded tokens.

This entire program is funded, organized, and staffed by the PTC and made possible by your 5K donation.

Your Cedar Park PTC held its November meeting on Monday, 11/25/19. The PTC Board welcomed special guest speaker, Safety Resource Officer Kevin McDonald, to discuss online & internet safety.

Join us at our next PTC Community Meeting on Monday, 2/24 at 6:30pm.

Dr. Anderson continues to utilize PTC funds to fill in the gaps of this year's school budget. Items purchased this year using your 5K donations include:

• School-wide pencil supply
• School-wide Calculators & protectors
• Recess cart & recess equipment
• Art supplies

Beaverton High School is open for shadow visits again this year. Current 8th grade students are welcome to shadow a BHS student for a day. To start the process, students or parents need to send an email to beavertonshadows@gmail.com. BHS students who support this opportunity will connect with the family directly to arrange the shadow day visit.

All opportunities are scheduled through the mIP system.
