A Note From the Principal...
Dear families,
Each week I reflect and share highlights with you, but for this edition I reflected on our school year so far. I am incredibly proud of all we have accomplished together! We have hardworking, proud, happy students and this is because of everyone's commitment and collaboration. Thank you for all you have done to support our students and staff as we navigate both in-person and virtual learning this year.
I look forward to all of the possibilities 2021 brings!

Positivity Project P2...
What it means...
Optimism means having a positive vision for your future and keeping that vision at the forefront of your thinking. Optimistic people stay positive and hopeful during setbacks.
Why it matters...
When we are optimistic and hopeful about the future or an outcome, we tend to stay focused on our goals and are able to overcome setbacks or obstacles. When we persevere through challenges, we build confidence and grit which leads to success and happiness.
Supporting Literacy at Home- Family Engagement...
- Our HSE Literacy Team- Mrs. Losey, Mrs. Goodloe, Mrs. Murphree, Mrs. Olsen, Mrs. D'Anna and myself have met to plan for ways to support our famlies in literacy. In order to plan meaningful activities and events that will help you to support your reader at home, we created a very short survey. Please take a moment to complete this survey. We will use this information to plan for ways to inform and engage all of our wonderful parents/guardians who are supporting our young readers at home.
- Stay tuned... In the meantime, please see the information below about the value of reading at home each day. Reading with, to, or by your child for just 20 minutes a day is a proven way to promote early literacy and a love for reading.
