Principal's Message
Happy Friday Cougar Families!
We are gearing up for Homecoming Week! Homecoming represents our first major event of the year with a week full of spirit concluded by the football game on Friday and the dance on Saturday. Please encourage your students to get some school spirit by dressing up, attending the game, and attending the dance. The more we can get our Cougars connected to the school, the more successful they will be in the classroom.
I would like to encourage everyone to attend and participate in the first Coffee with the Principal next Friday morning at 8:30 AM in the staff lounge. The topic of discussion will be school safety and security. The purpose of these meetings is to share with you all that we are doing to keep our community safe, the goals that we have set for the upcoming year, and how you can get involved. We will also provide you with an opportunity to share ideas and ask questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
Lastly I want to give one last plea to please consider submitting your name to be included in the upcoming Governing Board election. Declarations of candidacy and Form 700s are being accepted and must be hand delivered to the front office during regular working hours by 3:30 PM PST on Friday, September 29th. Detailed information and required forms are available on the school website and in the front office of Steele Canyon High School.
Thank you all for your support and most importantly, thank you for choosing Steele Canyon
Have a great weekend and stay safe!
Rah! Rah! Cougars!

Traffic and Parking Information
When driving onto campus, the right side lane is for drop off at the curb or in the back of the school. The left lane is for students/staff going into the front parking lot. Please drop off students in a safe area by the curb or sidewalk! Pull all the way forward. This is to help get as many cars on campus as quickly as possible.
Student parking lots are being highly monitored for compliance. All students MUST have a parking pass in order to park "legally" on campus. If a student does not display a proper parking permit, they will get a written warning on their car. Their car will get booted. They will not be allowed to park on campus until they follow our policy protocol.
Students MUST have a driver's license. Students need to Complete our Steele Canyon HS Parking Application. Attend Start Smart course (mandatory by the CHP). Just because a student purchased and painted a spot does not give permission to park on campus. Students can obtain a temporary parking permit once they sign up for the start smart class and complete the parking application.
Once Start Smart is completed, they will get a permanent parking permit.
