Middle School Career Exploration
Middle School students will be spending the next several weeks exploring all sorts of careers that they migh tbe interested in the future. We are using a resource called Hire Paths and you can check out some of the parent resources here: It's never to early to start talking to kids about their plans after high school!
High School E-Success
February's character word is Responsibility! Last week students participated in an obstacle course where they each had a specific task or were responsible for part of the course. Students had a blast!
Highland Technical Center Field Trip
March 5 all of 10th graders and a few 11th graders will take a tour of Highland Technical Center. Students have an opportunity to attend Highland their junior and senior year for half a day! Highland is a wonderful post secondary option for students. While they are in high school the tuition is paid for by the state. So families save around 2-3 thousand dollars a year. They can attend multiple programs and if you click the link below you'll see the programs offered.
Valentine's Day Carnival
Big thank you to the high schoolers who put on our Valentine's Carnival for the elementary and middle school students! Everyone had a great time!
