Essential Rule #36
If you approach a door and someone is following you, hold the door. If the door opens by pulling, pull it open, stand to the side, and allow the other person to pass through it first, then you can walk through. If the door opens by pushing, hold the door open after you push through.
Essential Rule #37
Be a good listener.
Listening may sound like a passive activity but in truth, it’s work. With so many things vying for your attention, learning to truly listen will help you focus on what is most important and set you up to be much more successful in life. After all, talking is simply repeating what you already know. Listening is learning something new.
Essential Rule #38
Enter public buildings quietly.
When you are on a field trip with your class, there will be no talking upon entering a building. You should enter the building quietly so that no one even notices you are there. This rule applies to entering any place where people are gathered, whether it is the movies, a church, a theater, or any other venue.
