Dear AESD Families,

As we continue this week filled with opportunities for learning and growth, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for entrusting us with your child's education.

Did you know that the month of September is National School Attendance Awareness Month? I want to emphasize the crucial role that regular attendance plays in your child's education. Each day of school is an opportunity for your child to acquire knowledge, build essential skills, and engage with their peers.

In support of National School Attendance Awareness Month, our District has been recognizing schools with the highest attendance. Kudos to Lincoln Elementary and Sunkist Elementary for having the highest improvement in attendance recently. Each week this month, one new school will be recognized and students will receive a popsicle party! Please visit us on AESD’s social media platforms to see who will win next!

We invite you to join us at our scheduled workshops. Please take a moment to review and plan to attend the remaining parent engagement opportunities that are being offered in September at the School, Family and Community Engagement Office (Key Campus) 2000 W.
