Sixth Form Event

We held an Open Morning for external students who wish to join CTS Sixth Form. If you know anyone who is interested in join our new exciting sixth form please contact the school.

RAIR Group

The Raising Aspirations and Increasing Resilience group delivered two assemblies today and a presentation to senior leaders. They were supported by Alistair Patrick-Heselton. Well done to all who took part.

Making History - Year 11

Our current Year 11 students who are making history as the first CTS students sitting GCSE's.

Year 11 GCSE Countdown

38 days until our Year 11's begin their GCSE exams. There has been lots going on in school to support the students in the build up to the exams. Below are pictures of what has been happening.

GCSE Engineering

Our GCSE engineers took part in a workshop focusing on their Engineering exam and coursework.

Keynote Speaker

The speaker is a chief examiner and publisher of the recommended text books students are currently using. This was an invaluable experience for the students.

English Focus Conference

Our Year 11 students have spent time working on their English literature. They worked as a team to build the plot of Romeo and Juliet, linking in key quotes and characters.

Stars of the Week

Students:

Miss Fenner has nominated Taylor 10C and Liam 7S for their contribution and hard work in English.
Mr Harley has nominated Dagmara 7S for making an excellent soup in Food Technology, Dagmara pushed the boundaries more by adding her own ingredient which she bought in from home.
Mrs Ferns has nominated Shannon 11T for her dedication and hard work in Maths.
Miss Glass has nominated Olivia 11T for her hard work in the build up to the exams and achieving some excellent results.
Mr Bidwell would like to nominate Kriss and Bartosz 11T, Charlotte, Jerard, Stefan and Lewis, 11S and Aaron 11C for phenomenal mock results in Geography.
Mr Lee has nominated Lukas and Emma 7T for excellent improvement in numeracy.
Mr McRae-Smith has nominated Abigail, Indira and Morgan 8C for fantastic work in German.
Mr Gourlay has nominated Connor 11T for his hard work and resilience in Computer Science.
Miss James has nominated 7C for welcoming our new student this week and helping him to settle into school life.
