Stone Soup with Grade 1's!!!

The grade 1s read the old story "Stone Soup" and decided to make some in class. The students all brought in veggies like onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, peas, celery, tomatoes and corn. They started cooking the soup in the morning and the entire school could smell the delicious aroma all day filling the halls! By late afternoon the soup was done and they enjoyed eating it together with goldfish crackers on top. Many students had several bowls and the pot was completely empty by the end of the day!

Sandwich Progam

January sandwich orders open on November 28th and close on December 21st. All sandwiches come with a 2% milk.
