Senior Trip Voting- Jan. 8-10
Seniors that want to vote for this year's senior trip should go by Dr. Fleischfresser's room (250) January 8, 9, or 10. The two trip proposals may be downloaded at the links below. Seniors should review the trip proposals prior to voting, and contact Dr. Fleischfresser (jessica.fleischfress@walton.k12.fl.us) with any questions. Note: The pricing on these proposals is based on 40 paying participants, and the itineraries are preliminary.

Classic Learning Test- Sign-Up by Jan. 24
The next Classic Learning Test (CLT) will be given at Walton High School on Thursday, February 15. Students that want to take the CLT should sign up in the SSA Office from January 4-24. This test may be used for:
- Florida Bright Futures testing score requirements
- Florida college/university entrance exam
- NWFSC dual enrollment placement scores
- Meeting the algebra 1 EOC graduation test requirement
- Meeting the grade 10 FSA ELA/FAST graduation requirement

Rising Freshman Events
Walton High School invites our rising freshmen to the following two events:
- Becoming A Brave
Friday, January 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.
This will be a student-only event during the school day. Students will get to tour WHS; meet guidance counselors & administration; visit elective courses; and speak with elective teachers & coaches.
- Spring Into Brave Country
Tuesday, January 30, from 3:45 to 7:15 p.m.
This event is open to parents/guardians of rising 9th grade students. Each family will have a one-on-one advising session with a WHS faculty member, where academic courses for the 2024-2025 school year will be discussed. We'll also have a WHS sports & club fair, as well as an elective showcase.
Cap & Gown Portraits- Feb. 8 & 9
Attention seniors:
Cap & gown portraits will be taken on February 8 and 9. The $20 session fee is due on the day of your appointment. Cap & gown attire will be provided. Sign up on the Class of 2024 bulletin board in Braves Blvd.

Senior yearbook recognition ads are a great way for parents, families, and friends to commemorate student achievements and important milestones.
