Things to do if your child is being cyberbullied:

• Prepare to talk - listen to what they have to say, believe them, and stay positive.
• Talk about the issue - remain calm and nonjudgmental, do not blame your child for being a target, and reassure them the issue will be taken care of.
• Show empathy - if you’ve been bullied talk to your child about it, this will encourage them to talk to you about what happened.
• Prepare a plan of action - ask your child how you can help them, take screenshots of the messages, and report them to the school or local authorities.

The Mountainburg Board of Education meets once a month unless a special meeting is needed. A study session will be held at 5:15 and the business session will be at 6:00 PM. Meetings are held downstairs in the Mountainburg Administration Building.
