Welcome to Briscoe Middle School

We are here to assist your child on his or her journey through middle school. Below you will find helpful information to include course selection worksheets, course selection catalog, contact information, and other important Briscoe information. If you or your child have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Please download the form below that indicates your child's grade level. Review the worksheet with your child and make the appropriate selections. Once you have done this, please email your child's counselor his/her course requests. For more information on course descriptions, please review the NISD Middle School Course Catalog (found below).

The following classes are closed; Athletics, STEM Future Lab, Principles of Applied Engineering, Principles of Human Services, Avid, & Dance.

Summer reading is required for Advanced ELA in grades 6-8 but open to all students.

Athletics is on an approval basis only. For girls approvals, please email Coach Vivens at kellee.vivens@nisd.net. For boys approvals, please email Coach Dawson at kenneth.dawson@nisd.net.

The Home Access Center (HAC) allows parents to access grades and attendance information. Your username is your email​ address​ and your password ​is ​the temporary password​ you received by email. You will be required to change it ​the ​first time​ you log in.

To request a HAC account or report a problem, complete this online form for and a technician will contact you via email or phone within two business days.
