Important Reminders from the Administrative Team
In-Person Learning Starts Today! - Last Reminders
- 10 - the number of times that you will see each of your students in Cohort A or Cohort B.
- Students may need WiFi login help - be prepared that your in-person students may need help getting onto the WiFi for the first time.
- Pickup your masks for Block 1 students BEFORE school - pick up your complimentary OCSA masks, and the OCSA masks that will be distributed in your Block 1 classes on Monday and Wednesday (Humanities Tower Receptionist Desk)
- Get your keys, staff ID, and parking permit (if needed) - make sure you have what you need to get into your classroom, park in the parking lots, and identify yourself as an OCSA employee. These items found at the Receptionist Desk and T100. Wear that OCSA employee ID proudly!
- Check your Class Rosters - some cohort changes were still occurring up until Friday. Make sure you have enough desks and chairs for all your cohorts. Submit a GOFMX maintenance request if you do not.
- Note your Permanent or Temporary Distance Learners - You will possibly have Virtual Academy learners who will Zoom into your hybrid classes or have Hybrid/In-Person Academy students who have decided to not return or are unable to return yet. Thank you for working with those students!
- Review the Spring Semester Norms for Teachers - check in with ALL your students each class period, stick to the classwork guidelines, minimize screen time.
- Remember! Staff does not need to complete the Campus Health Screening Form - However, please review your Daily Health Screening Self-Assessment Questions, and be sure to answer these questions daily BEFORE coming to work. If you feel ill, stay home and call for a sub!
Emergency Accommodations Remain in Place
The distance learning emergency accommodations remain active for the remainder of the school year, regardless of Learning Academy assignment, due to the fact that all students will continue to be engaged in distance learning a minimum of 3 days a week.
Thank you for continuing to support your students for the remainder of the year!
Please submit your feedback on our PD session!
For teachers who were not able to watch the presentation live, the recoding is available in the 2020 Professional Development Google Classroom. Hourly conservatory teachers can be compensated for watching the recording through Friday March 26.
Were you working with two screens at home?
Daily reporting time and morning duty for all
Academic & Elective Teachers
All academic and elective teachers who teach a Block 1 or Block 4 class must be in their rooms and ready to greet your students at 8:15 AM each day.
All academic and elective teachers have a role to play in keeping each other and our campus safe.
Conservatory Teachers
As a reminder, there is no Block 7 this year.
With only a 15 minute passing period between the end of the academic day and the start of conservatory, conservatory teacher should plan to be on campus by 1:45 PM to be ready to greet your students in your class.
Thank you to everyone for doing your part this year!
