Outdoor School-Coming Soon

This year the Outdoor Staff at Northwest Regional ESD will host a virtual experience for students, and our teachers will support the lessons here at Cedar Park. Students will log onto zoom just like they do now for classes, and their teachers will join the NWRESD teachers to help students learn about the environment. All lessons are during the school day, with the exception of a virtual "campfire" the Thursday night of the assigned week. More information will be share on the Thursday your child is participating in ODS.

6th graders are assigned to the week of May 17-21

7th graders are assigned the week of May 10-14 (with an introductory lesson May 5 during advisory)

We have received many questions about the possibility of an "in person" outdoor school next year since students did not get to have a typical ODS experience this year. At this point, there are no plans in place to have make up sessions, but as things develop, we will keep you informed.

Hybrid students will receive their science kit when they are at school.

CDL students will need to pick up a science kit.

7th graders in CDL:

May 5; 2:00-4:00

May 6; 8:00-9:30

May 7; 8:00-9:30

6th graders in CDL:

May 12; 2:00-4:00

May 13; 8:00-9:30

May 14; 8:00-9:30

Please try to pick up during these times. If you are unable to do so, there will be some available in the main office during school hours, 8:00-4:00.
