Hello to all our Wolves! Now that we have gotten to September, it is almost time for school to start! Our staff has been involved with trainings over the last week, and they are getting prepared to welcome our students back to the building. Our school has been under construction which will soon be done. We will have a refreshed school! The biggest upgrade you will notice right off the bat is the walls. There is no more wallpaper, and all the walls have been redone. It gives a clean and bright look to the hallways. Our HVAC system is also in the midst of an upgrade, and that should be completed in the middle of October. When we open our doors on September 7th for our first day of school, we are all going to be so excited to welcome our kids back from summer break! As for me and my first year as the Principal, I am so happy to start this new adventure. I loved all of my years at Centennial, but I am so thrilled to begin my adventures at Seth. Walking through the building, getting to know the staff over the summer and seeing the passion that they bring to the building everyday while providing what is "best for kids," truly fills my bucket. A saying that I am bringing to the building that has been a mantra for me is, "Win the Day." If you get a chance before school starts to ask your kiddo what that phrase means to them, you may see it evolve as the year goes on! Again, I am delighted to be here at Seth Woodard as it truly is a dream job for me!
