Meet the Principal

Since 2009 I have served the Clark County School District as an administrator at the elementary and middle school level. Throughout my career in CCSD I have served communities that have fed into CHS or were adjacent to the CHS community. I have led two schools through district-sponsored transformation programs and I'm excited to bring my experience to the Cheyenne High School community. I stay active in the education community and work to improve our system for educators, students, and families. I am currently a member of the Principal Advisory Cabinet for Nevada's Superintendent of Public Instruction and President of the Nevada Association of School Administrators' Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Board.

The Start of Something Great!

Cheyenne High School will be undergoing a comprehensive campus rehabilitation beginning in 2023. This will modernize our entire building making our campus safer and our classrooms better suited for 21st Century learning. Cheyenne High School is one of the first schools being provided with these security upgrades and we are excited to be able to provide our community with a high quality learning environment!

This upgrade includes:

75" touchscreen displays in all classrooms.
High resolution security cameras.
Exterior painting.
New countertops in workrooms.
New roof covering and skylights.
Upgraded HVAC.
New plumbing fixtures.
Upgraded networking system

Special Opportunity: Dual Enrollment

Inquire about our opportunities to teach dual enrollment courses in partnership with the University of Nevada-Reno. Qualified individuals can earn an additional $1,000 per section, per semester in addition to 6 Contact Units used towards salary advancement! Additionally, UNR will compensate individuals $1,000 to participate in professional learning!
