Yearbook Volunteer Needed!
Want to find a quick and easy way to help? The yearbook committee needs a 3rd grade parent rep to take and send in pictures of 3rd graders throughout the year to be included in the yearbook. It is easy and can be done straight from your phone. To volunteer or get more information, please contact Erin Griffin or Besty Sanders at yearbook@dooleypta.org.
Curriculum
Math - We will be wrapping up our Patterns and Tables unit. Students will have an assessment on Friday.
Reading - Students will be taking the Winter Language Usage MAP test. They will be making inferences when they read. They will also be explaining how relationships among characters influence the plot.
Social studies - Students will be researching aspects of various non-profit organizations.
Science - Students will be examining various types of soils. We will begin our next engineering unit on how geotechnical engineers use their knowledge of soil to help them invent and create.
