MST Weekly Update
March 24, 2023

We are quickly approaching the end of the 3rd quarter of the school year. The quarter ends on April 6th. Students have less than two weeks to get caught up so that their next report card shows progress. The teachers are noticing a slowdown in work submission across all grades. Now is the time that the students need to be keeping up with the work as the 4th quarter will go by very quickly and before they know it, it's too late to catch up. Please have your child share their Google Classroom with you so that you can see if they are up to date on all of their work.
Important information for seniors, the deadline for several scholarships is next Friday, March 31st. Students can see the list of scholarship opportunities in Xello.

Manchester Proud Student Recognition
Manchester Proud announces its second annual recognition of outstanding student volunteers.
As our future leaders and residents, a great number of Manchester’s youth are already giving their time and talents by volunteering and their commitment and spirit deserve to be celebrated.
All students who attend Manchester public high schools are eligible to apply. Four awards will be presented (ideally one at each high school) to those students whose volunteer engagement demonstrates deep commitment to impacting the lives of others and the greater community.

Hannafords Helps MST
It's that time again! Hannifords is once again doing their Hannaford Helps Schools program and they are partnering with MST.
The 2023 program will run from March 12 through May 27.
More than 800 items have been designated with the "helps schools" label shown. For every 4 items purchased, MST will receive a $3 donation. Hannafords has worked hard to have as many relevant participating items as possible so it's easy to support your local schools while shopping for the items you love. NEW for 2023: Deposit School Dollars online using the Hannaford Helps Schools app to donate to a specific school! You can also deposit your paper receipt on the way out of the store, but that donation will be split between all participating schools. not just MST.
If you download the app, you will be asked for an email, an account password, your first name, and your zip code. You will then be asked to select a school. Please select the Manchester School of Technology. Whenever you shop at Hannafords and buy products tagged to help schools, you will get a code. The code is entered into the app and MST gets the contribution.
Please help support MST while shopping for your groceries! The top 200 schools will receive an extra $1000. We are small, but we can do it!
