Annoucements
If you ride your bike on Stover, headed north to Prospect, please follow the bike lane. Do not cut through Poudre Global Academy's parking lot. This creates an unsafe situation.
Attendance
Please give our front office 48 hours to update attendance. There's a large number of emails and voicemails to document on a daily basis and we are trying our best to be accurate and timely with attendance.
PBIS
Every month we have a PBIS challenge for students to complete. Our first challenge of the year is being on time to every class every day. We will be having an extra No Tardy Powerball every week in September! So, get to class so you can be entered for a prize!
Morning Fresh Cash for Caps Fundraiser
If you are a Morning Fresh Dairy customer, please bring in your rinsed milk, juice, cream, or other caps to Mr. Mayer. For every cap that is returned, Lesher Middle School earns money. Please turn rinsed caps in to the box in the front office or to Mr. Mayer’s classroom (room 12). If you are interested in Morning Fresh Dairy, every new household sign up that mentions Lesher raises $25. Click here or ask Mr. Mayer (bmayer@psdschools.org) for more information.
Visitors
Visitors please do not hold open the main door for someone walking in beind you. This creates a safety risk. Let us know if you have any questions!

Hello Vikings, Knights and Pawns. If you check out the Lesher Chess Club, you can be the first to say checkmate. Don’t know how to play, we can teach you. We play, learn and compete at different levels. Sign up as soon as possible. Get a flyer from room 3 or talk to Mr. Warchola for more information. We will start September 5th so sign up today!

Traffic and Parking Guidelines
Drivers:
• Slowdown
• PULL FORWARD in the drop-off/pick-up area
• Yield to pedestrians & crossing guards in crosswalks
• DO NOT BLOCK the roadway, bicycle lanes, handicap spaces, bus entrances, or driveways
• NO parking, stopping, or standing at RED CURBS
Bicyclists/Skateboarders
• Bicycles should use bicycle lanes & obey traffic laws • Dismount your bicycle/ skateboard on the sidewalk in front of the school and walk • Secure your bicycle/skateboard on the racks at the north side of the school
Pedestrians
• Use crosswalks
• Make eye contact with drivers prior to crossing

Student Health Information
Here's two tips from the health office:
1. All medications, prescription and non-prescription, require forms to be completed. Please review the "Procedures for Medications" and have your doctor complete and SIGN the "Authorization and Release" form found in this link: https://www.psdschools.org/programs-services/medications-health-action-plans
2. All 6th through 12th graders are required to have had a Tdap booster. Please bring an updated vaccine record from your doctor. For more information; please visit: https://www.psdschools.org/programs-services/immunizations-students
Student Health Centers
In June 2022, the Poudre School District Board of Education approved a five-year contract with Every Child Pediatrics, which operates the Health and Wellness centers at Lincoln Middle School and Centennial High School.

- Prevention services, such as annual well-child exams and sports physicals
- Treatment of acute medical issues, such as colds, flu, acute illness and infections
- Management of chronic health conditions, such as asthma and diabetes
- Validated health needs assessments including screenings for depression and anxiety
- Counseling for mental health issues, skill development and resiliency building
- Health and wellness planning for adolescents
- Reproductive health care
- Prescriptions and in-house lab tests
- Health education and awareness campaigns
- Referrals to other medical and mental health professionals
- Vaccines/ immunizations (in collaboration with the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment)
- Dental screenings and services (in collaboration with community providers)
- Assistance with Medicaid/CHP+ enrollment (Centers are a Certified Application and Assistance Site or CAAS provider)
