Dear Riebli Community,

The holidays give us an opportunity to pause our busy lives and reflect on our proud accomplishments. The season offers us a chance to say “thank you” to the entire school community for all of the support that you provide to our students, our families, and our staff.

Our school community has worked selflessly to make a positive difference for families, and I would be remiss if I did not commend our students and staff for the joy they have brought to those who need the most help. I have witnessed our Riebli community come together as a true community family to celebrate and support each other, never losing sight of our purpose… the children. At this time, I want to thank you for all that you have done and all that you will do in the coming year. We will continue to support each other. We will continue to celebrate each other and take pride in the accomplishments of all members of our Riebli family. You continue to amaze me with your commitment and dedication to the children. I know that we are #bettertogether.

I hope you all have a joyous and special holiday season with plenty of time to relax and enjoy family and friendships. Safe travels and warm tidings to each and every one of you!

Hello Parents,

The Mark West School District is actively looking for parental involvement in serving on our District Wellness Committee. The Wellness committee meets 2-3 times a year for 1 hour each meeting via zoom. The Wellness committee helps to promote the belief that foods and beverages available to students at district schools should support the health curriculum and promote optimal health, taking into consideration the needs of students with special dietary needs.

We need your help to continue this goal. If you would like to serve on the District Wellness Committee please reach out to Kelly Sansone (ksansone@mwusd.org) to join or with any questions.

Mark West Union School District’s 2024-2025 Transitional Kindergarten (TK)/Kindergarten
Online Enrollment IS OPEN!!!

Transitional Kindergarten (TK): Child must turn 5 between September 2, 2024 – June 2, 2025
Kindergarten: Child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024

If you are already enrolled in TK or Kindergarten, you do not have to re-enroll your student.

We were recently notified by RESIG (our insurance) that County wide, there has been an increase in the theft of items left in vehicles.

A reminder to please make sure no valuables are left in your vehicle and to be sure that anything left in your vehicle is stored in a location not visible through a window.

Lastly, please make sure your vehicle is secured when exiting.

The blacktop restrooms are open for student use between 1:45-3:15. Please walk your students over to the blacktop if they need the restroom.

The office restrooms are for staff only. If an adult needs the restroom between 1:45-3:15, please check in at the office for sticker to the adult restrooms in the multi.

Students will be bring home a COVID test the week of December 19. We ask that you test on Sunday, January 7 and report any positive cases to Mrs. Todd.

The Mark West USD is looking to add more support to our personnel staff. We are hiring paraeducators, yard supervisors, office support, lunch heaters and crossing guards. These positions are flexible; you can choose how much you'd like to work. If you've thought about working at your child's school, this is the perfect opportunity.
