Spring Concert
We are excited to announce the upcoming K-2 Spring Concert with our Grade 3 choir and ukulele group, which will take place on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. We are looking forward to an incredible performance by our talented students, and we hope you can join us for this special event.
To accommodate families with younger children, we will have a matinee performance at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16th. Parents with younger children who wish to attend should plan to arrive early to secure seating.
The evening performance is for adults only, and doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the concert starting at 6:30 p.m. We encourage all parents, guardians, and family members to attend and support our young performers. Tickets for the evening performance will be available for purchase at the door for $5.00. Tickets will also be on sale for a basket draw.
Please note that the concert will take place in the school's gymnasium. We recommend arriving early to find a good seat and avoid any delays. We also ask that all attendees please be respectful of the performers and the other audience members by refraining from talking during the show and to remain seated until the end of the concert.
Thank you for your continued support of Sacred Heart Academy and our students. We look forward to seeing you at the Spring Concert.

Provincial Reading and Mathematics Assessment
Students in Grades 3 and 6 will be writing the Provincial Reading and Mathematics Assessment (PRMA) in Mathematics during the second second week of June. There is no student preparation required for PRMA. PRMA will be presented as a classroom activity. Total testing time is one hour, with additional time available if required. The assessment will measure student knowledge in mathematics reading at this point in time. PRMA data will be monitored and analyzed by the Department of Education and the school district to identify where action is needed to improve student learning.
Teachers, administrators, school district and the department will use this data to develop strategies and initiatives to support and further enhance student learning.
