Description
Texas A&M University’s competitive four-year Academic Scholarships are offered by Scholarships & Financial Aid. These awards are available to incoming freshman admitted for the fall only. Our office will notify selected students of their scholarship offers in February of their high school senior year. Each scholarship includes a one-time $1000 scholarship to be used for a Texas A&M approved education abroad experience.

United Heritage Community Scholarship
Award: $5000

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Current graduating high school seniors
- Member of United Heritage Credit Union or be related to a United Heritage member
- Must attend an institution of higher learning the following fall
- Minimum of 500 verifiable hours of community and civic service experience, not including extra-curricular activities.

Organization/Foundation Scholarships

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Be living in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico
- Be graduating high school seniors (U.S. and Puerto Rico), graduating from grade 12 (Canada) or graduating from home school education in the U.S., Puerto Rico or Canada
- Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent
- Plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2021-22 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico

St. Davids Neal Kocurek Scholarship
Award: 1/8/2021
Due: Up to $7500
EIIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be a high school senior within Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, or Williamson counties
- Applicants are accepted at an accredited college or university in Texas to pursue a degree in a healthcare related discipline*
- Psychology or social work applications accepted for students planning to work in a medical environment
- Applicants must attend an accredited college or university in Texas as a full-time student (12+ units/semester)
- Finalists must be able to attend an in-person interview
- Applicants must be a United States Citizen or a legal non-citizen resident
- Applicants must pass a background check. There can be no conviction for violating any federal or state laws for alcohol or drugs
- Financial need is considered in the application process. Proof of family income is required.
*Students pursuing veterinary and other non-human healthcare careers will not be considered
A+ Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Award: $2000
Due: 2/15
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Current A+FCU member or child/grandchild of a member
- Attending or planning to attend a college or university
- Graduating high school seniors pursuing an education major
- Graduating high school seniors pursuing majors in other fields
- Teachers working on a Master’s Degree
- Students with a minimum of 60 collegiate hours and admitted to the College of Education at an accredited college or university
