Dear Oak Ridge Families,
I am so proud of the display of respect our students showed our Veterans today. So many teachers, staff, and students created projects, thank you cards, help serve breakfast, put together gifts, songs, speeches and much more to say thank you to our Veterans during the assembly. Most importantly, I am proud of the respect our students showed the guest speakers during the assembly. Thank you for instilling this respect in our children.
This week, our 1st grade students worked with STEM bins to encourage creative thinking, teamwork, and cooperation while inventing and creating.
Science Club is hosting an ornament fundraiser. Click the flyer to download a form if you would like to order a historical Oak Ridge Christmas ornament or contact Jessica Fronabarger at jfronabarger@oakridge.k12.mo.us.

Tomorrow is the first day of fall firearms deer season. If any of my students have fun family photos of deer camp or are lucky enough to get one, I would love to see them. You are welcome to email them to me at swood@oakridge.k12.mo.us.
Enjoy the weekend with your family and be safe hunting!
Sincerely,
Sonia Wood
