As an Arkansas educator, you are required to obtain a minimum of 36 hours of professional development each year (Arkansas Department of Education). TASD requires teachers to obtain 60 hours each year.

What is Shoebox?

Arkansas Education Service Cooperative escWorks® system provides a free record tracking system that enables educators to track professional growth on-line. The Portfolio component, referred to as Shoebox, stores past and future sessions and allows users to track personal pd credits and manage their transcript.

**If you already have a Shoebox account from a different district in the state, you DO NOT NEED to create another account. All you will need to do is update your account info.

You can do this by signing in to your Shoebox account, click on "User Account."

• To change your primary email address- click on link located under your school email address: "change primary email address." Then click "save record."
  
• To update a name change or school site, edit info and click "save record."

4. Click "Save Record" and you're done!
