Happy Friday~

One of the goals we have for this year is supporting students in thriving at school. That requires our learners to be at school.

Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Start building this habit so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Eventually good attendance will be a skill that will help them succeed in high school and college.

This month we continue to focus on the IB Learner Profile "Communicator"

The IB Learner profile aims to develop students who are communicators. Students who are communicators understand and express ideas and information confidently and creatively in more than one language and in a variety of modes of communication. They work effectively and willingly in collaboration with others.

Get involved by signing up to support our very important student population of English Learners. In the past, we have combined ELAC with SSC. This year is a voting year where this committee will determine if this combined practice will continue. Please, fill out the interest form below by Thursday, September 14th.

Friendly reminder from our friendly crossing guard: When she is out in the center, all traffic stops for the safe crossing of our students.

Just a friendly reminder that school starts at 8:10 (9:10 for late cubs). We try our best to accommodate you and open school 30 minutes prior to the start of school. Please, Do NOT arrive earlier than that. Gates will open at 7:40AM (8:40 for late cubs).

Parents, no skateboards or scooters are allowed on campus. Only bicycles are allowed and please use the safety helmet!

We only allow school affiliated hats and please wear tennis shoes, no crocs or sandals. Please read the parent handbook for more details.

Welcome to the Lion's Den (Office Service Window): We will begin to use the office service window to assist families. If the front door is not accessible, please knock on the window and someone will assist you.
