Summer Extended Learning Opportunities
Kim Norton, Assistant Superintendent of Student Learning, and Linda Gibbens, Director of Grant-Based Programs, outlined several District extended learning opportunities available this summer. The District will offer various PreK-12 summer programs for June and July and Jump Start programs in August. Camp Invention will also be offered at Leal Elementary. Camp Invention is a district-wide program open to all elementary students. Flyers, sign-up links, or applications will be available and shared by home schools. Mrs. Norton shared a Summer Learning Opportunity one-page document linked here for families to reference when making summer plans.
