Work on the heating and air conditioning at the Don Stroh Administration Center begins in May, which will move the Board meetings and some district offices temporarily. The May, June, and July Board Meetings will be held at Millard North High School at 1010 South 144th Street. Over the summer the Human Resources Department will move to Russell Middle School at 5304 South 172nd Street. Student Services will move to Bryan Elementary School at 5010 South 144th Street. The Office of the Superintendent, the Business Office and the Educational Services Office will move to the Ron Witt Support Services Center at 13737 Industrial Road.

Black Elk Elementary School is now in its fifth year as an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme school, and attendance is at an all time high of 594 students. The Board of Education received the fifth year program evaluation at last night's Board meeting. Students at Black Elk achieve at high levels - at or above their Millard peers in most testing events and subjects. Along with the Black Elk attendance area, students opt into the school from all over the district and from outside the district.

Our fantastic elementary school counselors are presenting tonight's event and will be welcoming everyone with food, fun, and prizes.
