CMIT South Elementary School
Week of November 27, 2022

Friday, March 3, 2023
Principal's Desk
Greetings Tiger Family,
Value and savor the moments we have together. Educating children is more than a job or profession, it is a calling and a privilege. This week has been emotionally taxing for staff and students alike as we celebrated the talent of our students and the contributions of African Americans in the phenomenal Black History Program, but we were reminded of how ephemeral life can be with the sudden passing of one of our former stand out students, Jackson Payne Buckner from the Class of 2022. Know that the staff of CMIT South Elementary truly cares about your children and that every encouraging word, high five, handshake, or hug is done with joy and the promise of what your child can be in their future.
Continue to take the time to hug your children, and be patient and kind with them in all you do. Show up for them and give yourself grace as parents and guardians that you may not get it right, but you will always have the support of the school. Together, there is nothing we can’t do for each other, or our children, in even the toughest of times
Please be reminded that there is no school Monday, March 6, 2023, for staff professional development. We look forward to seeing our scholars return on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
With Love and Respect
Mr. Ronald A. Miller, Jr.
Principal
