SUMMER SCHOOL FOR CURRENT 8TH GRADERS AT ARGO HIGH SCHOOL--READ AND CLICK DOCUMENT BELOW.
From Argo High School:
- We have brought back our Pathways program for this summer. This is our English Bridge and Algebra Bridge. These two classes are good for any students who may not have passed ELA or math during this past year or any students needing more work in either or both of these areas. Pathways classes are open only to incoming 9th graders.
- We also are offering our Human Geography class again. This is a full credit and the course runs the entire curriculum. This has been a really good class in the past for students in music or other electives who cannot fit in their 9th grade social studies class and the elective in their schedule. This class will have about 5 hours of learning each day with 3 of those hours happening each day in the building and 2 of the hours happening online.
- We also are offering our digital photography basic class. Students have enjoyed this class in the past. Both the photography and human geography classes are open to all students, including incoming 9th graders.
- We have a variety of ELL and Special Ed courses, but typically we don't advertise those classes and instead let the directors of those two programs work with families to get students into the right classes.
- Our plan is to run summer school in the building. We will run 3 school bus routes twice a day to accommodate the two periods of summer school.
Argo High School will mail home additional information.
