Dear Families,
We have 10 days of school left! Time is flying by and we still have a lot to do in classrooms!
Students and teachers are celebrating their time together and accomplishing a lot!
- Our fourth graders are trying to complete their trek to the West Coast on the Oregon Trail! I hope they make it in time!
- Our second graders are becoming experts at measuring and also had the opportunity to take care of their growing caterpillars! Just yesterday second graders released their butterflies in the garden.
- Today our fifth graders celebrated their hard work and tender care in the garden by enjoying fresh vegetables and salad!
- Kindergarten students are mastering attributes in math by comparing color, size and shapes.
Lastly I wanted to remind all families about our last day of school! It is going to be a blast. On June 17th we will be recognizing our 5th graders and also celebrating our entire K - 5 students and their year.
9 - 10:15 am 5th Grade Recognition
- Students and adults will park in the parking lot and walk along the front of the school building enjoying bubbles and music. Students can take pictures with their family, take pictures with their teacher, and will receive their certificate and some goodies!
10:30 - 11:30 am All School Backwards Parade (In Person and ALL CDL families!)
- Students and families can walk to school or park in the parking lot. From there we are inviting students and families to walk the big loop in front of the school. Teachers and staff will be cheering students on and saying goodbye for the summer. We will be practicing social distancing and maintaining safety protocols.
Please let me know if you have any questions. More information will be coming soon.
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bailey
