Principal Message: AM/PM Hybrid begins February 1
We are so happy to welcome back our students to in-person learning beginning on February 1. As the final school for our district to make the switch back to in-person learning we are excited and feel well prepared to deliver high quality instruction for both our students here at the school, and those who will continue to join us remotely from home.
It has been a few months now since we were last in-person for our AM/PM Hybrid schedule, so please encourage your student to review the Hybrid Expectations Video (below) for a refresher on the procedures and requirements for Hybrid learning. They are same as before, but it's always nice to be reminded of the expectations after such a long delay.
Our Hybrid Bell Schedule is also provided below as a reminder of the schedule for both AM or PM students. Similar again, all At-Home learners will be expected and able to jump into their teacher classrooms remotely while live learning is occurring in the classroom with our in-person students.
The Skyward Daily Screener will need to be completed yet again every morning prior to arriving to school. Students can complete the screener on their phones using the app, and will be required to show proof of completing the form before being allowed to enter into the building. There will be paper screener forms available for students who need to complete it that way as well.
Masks must be worn at all times. We certainly have grown accustomed to this requirement in today's society, but please remember to also encourage your student bring clean and new masks everyday to maintain their hygiene and effectiveness. Disposable masks are available for all students at the screening entry locations.
For our students who drive themselves to school and park in the student parking lot, you will notice that this time we are asking you to use the screening entry down by the cafeteria, as the one near the Greenhouse entrance is no longer accessible for students before school.
Any student who arrives to campus after 8:05am, must plan to enter and be screened through the main office doors.
If you have any questions about any of our hybrid procedures, please feel free to contact the main office at 509-522-3312.
Thank you, and Go Hawks!

ASB Cards
We are pleased to inform you that starting this year, we are able to provide ASB Cards at no cost to CPHS students who are eligible for free and reduced lunch. We hope that this will enable greater student access to and participation in College Place High School athletics and activities.
If you qualify, this has already been added to your student's account. If you have any questions about your status, you can contact the CPHS Front Office or Mrs. Bartlow at lbartlow@cpps.org.
Graduation Date: Saturday, June 12 2021
This link will be kept updated and information shared with the Class of 2021 and their families, as information and details become available. We are still waiting to find out if we will be able to offer a form of in-person graduation service or what the ceremony will look and feel like. More details to follow.
We do encourage the Class of 2021 to remember to order their Cap & Gown for the ceremony if they haven't done so yet. Orders can be completed at https://thegradoutlet.com/index.html
If you are a senior parent interested in helping form a Senior Party Planning Committee, please feel free to reach out to Maria Davis at maria.p.davis1@gmail.com or by phone at 702-768-3761.
