GOLF CARTS NEEDED
We used to rent golf carts for WMI and started asking for parents to loan their golf cart for the day to the WMI. This saves us A TON of money. Please consider loaning your golf cart for the day. Please fill out the form below to donate your cart for WMI. Only adults are allowed to drive the golf carts.
These are used to:
- Refill water stations
- Park buses
- Help elderly from their vehicle to the stadium

TWB MEMBER SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY
Morning and Afternoon - Volunteer shifts. TWB members to not need to be up here all day. They will be present for their volunteer shift, then depart.
- 4:30pm Arrive for rehearsal
- 4:50pm Ready at stadium band entrance for rehearsal
- 5:00pm TWB Rehearsal
- 6:00pm Break for Dinner
- 6:30pm Change to watch Finals (bibbers / show shirt / band shoes)
- 7:00pm Watch Finals
- 8:15pm Depart to change and go to warm up
- 9:45pm Performance
- 10:00pm Awards
- 10:15pm Dismissal/ Put everything away
EXPLANATION OF VOLUNTEER AREAS
Air Grams:
- We offer “Call Outs” from our announcer for $2, like “hey Conner Good Luck Today, Love Mom"
- Sit down job / having people fill out forms / students run the air grams up to the press box
Band Guides:
- Meet the visiting band at check-in station. Stay with the band until they enter the field for Prelims / and then meet back up with them as they warm up for finals / stay with them until they enter the field for finals.
- Getting to know another band is FUN! You stay with the directors offering information about restrooms (use stadium restrooms only) and you make sure the band moves on time from Warm-Up areas to the field.
Check-in Station:
- Bands will check-in at this station when they arrive at the parking lot. They turn in their registration packet and that is delivered to the Press Box
Entry Gate:
- You monitor the Gate on the field as the bands arrive to perform
Field Timer:
- Basically this is waving a flag for the band to begin performance and allowing the scoreboard operator to start the clock
First Aid Station:
- This is an area that will have Medicine / Band-Aids etc. for any students that may get sick
Hospitality:
- This is an area in the Press Box that serves food to the directors and judges
Judge Runner:
- Okay not really “running” You will work in the Press Box with Mr. Dixon and Judges taking things to and from the 2nd & 3rd Floors
Patch Sales:
- We have a Competition Patch that we will sell for $5 / Easy sit down job / we will have some students selling patches in and around the stands
Ramp Monitor:
- Standing at the top of the ramp you allow people to come and go only during breaks. When bands are performing on the field there is a rope that goes across the ramp. Yep you can bring a chair to sit on
Tickets:
- We will have the ticket booth open and ticket sales will be in shifts / one for prelims & one for finals / Easy Sit down job!
Volunteer Break Area:
- This is simply a person that monitors the break area for volunteers and makes sure the sandwiches / cookies / water are stocked and available / Easy sit down job
Volunteer Check-In:
- This is a station where all volunteers will check-in / receive information and shirts to wear for the day
Water Stations:
- We have 3 stations available for bands to come by and grab a cup of water / you will have cups/water and trash bags – you can sit while waiting for the bands / but will be filling water cups several times
