Why DBQ Online?
Part 1: The Student Experience
The DBQ Project Approach
All of our lessons are inquiry-based and student-centered. As students grapple with a driving question, they read and analyze a series of documents. Ultimately, students draw their own informed conclusions about the central question, and express those conclusions through an evidence-based essay. The process encourages students to take ownership of their learning.
To effectively guide student through this process, we have developed a Six-Step Method, which breaks down what is normally a complex process into manageable, concrete steps.
DBQ Online includes the DBQ Project's curriculum in an upgraded digital format.
