Metro Mobile Clinic Returns May 25th

The MetroHealth School Health Program is coming back to Gearity! Their team will be here seeing patients on Thursday May 25th. They can see your child for a check up, needed school immunizations, prescription refills, help managing chronic illness like asthma, and referrals to specialists. If your child is heading to middle school, get their fall sports physical paperwork completed now! There is no charge to families for these services. To schedule an appointment or if you have any questions email SHPschedule@metrohealth.org or call 216-957-1303.

Just so you all are aware- we will be open all summer at the Heights High Clinic and have a doctor every Tuesday and Friday to see patients. The online consent is working really well for families and can be found at-- MyChart - School Based Health Services Consent Form (metrohealth.org) We look forward to continuing to grow our program at Gearity!

Volunteers and Participants Needed!

We are just one week away from the Tiger 5k & Fun Run to be held on Saturday, May 20th at 9 a.m. All proceeds from the run will benefit the CH-UH elementary PTAs. Gearity PTA funds will be used to provide mini-grants to classroom teachers for hands-on learning projects. See attached flyer for registration information and feel free to spread the word! Gearity PTA is also looking for a few volunteers to join our team to help with various duties the day of the race. Kids can join their parents and show their Gearity spirit! Fun Countdown to the End of the School Year!

The countdown has started! We love having your students come to school every day but we know that everyone also gets excited for the start of summer. We will once again have our ABC countdown where each of the last 26 days of the school year will have a fun theme attached. We will remind students each day of the next theme but feel free to download the schedule so you can assist with preparing for the next day. I personally am looking forward to finding some good dad jokes for May 10th.
