Your RLA teachers wanted to let you know that Tuesday, the students will begin Unit 2--Analysis and Composition of Fiction and Literary Non-Fiction. We will kick off the unit with vocabulary. Look for the list and definitions to come home. Our Mid-Unit 2 test is scheduled for Sept. 20th.

Friendly reminders: Students should be reading at home daily for 15-20 minutes. Thank you for your help in setting up a reading routine!

Our student-founded and student-led fellowship group is meeting for the first time this year on Friday, September 9th from 7:35-8:55 upstairs in Mrs. Collins' room (#213). We hope to see you there!

Our first Spanish-Speaking Support Night will be Tuesday, September 13th from 5:30-6:30 in the cafeteria. This is to help families that speak Spanish with communication support. We hope to see you there.

The date is set for our first GMS dance! Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 25th. More information will be announced at a later date!
