Cross Country
Cross Country will be canceled on 11/15 and 11/17. It will resume when we return from Fall Break on 11/29.
Congratulations to our ASA Cross Country team as they became the winning school at a local meet! Fifth grader Jake Soltero came in with the fastest time of the meet! Congratulations again to all participants.
Basketball Club
This is the last week for Basketball Club. Basketball Club ends on 11/14 for grades 4-8 and 11/15 for grades TK-3. Thank you all for your participation. We hope you had a great time!
VEX Robotics
ASA will offer two teams for middle school students to compete in VEX robotics tournaments. The teams are available to students in grades 6-8. However, priority will be given to junior high students in grades 7-8. Teams will meet after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning in December. There are only a limited number of spaces for participants. If more students are interested than space available, tryouts will be held to determine participation. To learn more about the VEX robotics tournaments please click here. If your child is interested in participating, please click here for more information and to fill out the interest form.
Basketball Team Tryouts
Basketball Tryouts are coming! Tryouts are open to all students in grades 6-8. A girls team and a boys team will form and compete against other schools. Tryouts will take place after school on Tuesday 11/29 and Thursday 12/1 from 3:15-4:15. Please meet at the basketball courts.
Note: A parent/guardian must accompany student during tryouts, students are not permitted to attend alone.
πββοΈπββοΈMileage Club
Mileage Club takes place on Fridays. It will be open beginning at 7:30am. Students should enter through the front gate. Remember, any student on campus for Mileage Club from 7:30am-7:45am needs to have this waiver completed. Waivers must be turned in by the Wednesday before Mileage Club on Friday in order for students to participate. This allows us the opportunity to update our records. Please turn waivers into your classroom teacher or the front office. Additional printed copies are available in the front office. See you on the field!
πββοΈ Volunteers
We appreciate our volunteers greatly! There are multiple opportunities to get involved in our school community. Please review the new Sign Up Genius for Mileage Club and the new one for our after school programs. Thank you for supporting our programs!
