STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Nancy Knaup is our staff member in the spotlight. Mrs. Knaup has worked for Columbia School District since 2008. She taught preschool for 4 years. She is currently a Reading interventionist who offers Reading Recovery and Leveled Literacy Interventions to students who need extra support in Reading. Her favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse, her favorite candy is any kind of chocolate and her favorite color is pink! She loves the children's book series called "The Big Spider Series." COUNSELOR'S CORNER
Would you like to mentor a student but don’t have time to come to school during the day? If you would like to be part of a program called “TERRIFIC KIDS,” you would be partnered with a child who would benefit from your support. You can write them notes of encouragement and deliver them to our office or mail them, give your student little gifts from time to time, leave them a treat for their lunch, etc. If you are interested in being a mentor for TERRIFIC KIDS, please email Ashley.Phelps@myeagles.org or call 517-592-6632.
If you believe your child would benefit from having a mentor from this program, please email Mrs. Phelps @Ashley.Phelps@myeagles.org
