Buffalo Express

I can't quite put into words how much our staff enjoyed greeting and meeting our incoming Buffaloes for the 21-22 school year at Sneak Peek. We are excited to get down to the business of learning on Tuesday morning. A few specific items of note:

• Waterbottles- Please send your student with a water bottle as we are not utilizing water fountains other than for filling bottles and cups. We have cups and extras in case Buffaloes forget.

• Pre-packaged Birthday Snacks- We love to celebrate birthdays with students, and ask that treats be pre-packaged and store bought for safety reasons.

• Visitors- At this time we are still inviting visitors into Berryton to eat lunch with students and/or walk students to class. We have a designated area where students may eat with visitors right by the kitchen. Families that walk students to class in the mornings or come to eat lunch with students will need to park on the street.

• Breakfast and Lunch- Students will pick up their breakfast from the cafeteria and take it to their classroom to eat. Students will only be eating with peers from their specific classroom for lunchtime and they will be spaced apart. Students will eat lunch in the cafeteria.

8/24- Band and Orchestra Meeting at 7:00 PM at SHHS Auditorium

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
