Congratulations to our 5th grade students as they culminate to their respective middle schools next year! This week was a wonderful way to end the year with all of our Cubs. We had a lot of fun at field day and the family picnic. Congratulations to Reveur House in winning 1st place for field day activities this past Tuesday. May each of you have a wonderful and memorable summer.
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Zemans on your retirement. You are well respected in our Cypress Cub Community and you will be missed not only by the students you have impacted over the years, but the entire CVUSD Community, as you have served at other schools within the district, too.
It has been a pleasure working within the Cypress Community and the team here is exceptional. I look forward to what is in store for our Cub Community under the leadership of Michele McDonald. I am grateful for the work and dedication our teachers put forth in completing the design, implementation and reflection of their IB units. It has been joyful working with Mrs. Barrra, our IB Consultant. We are wrapping and submitting the application within the next few days for the International Baccalaureate.
Thank you to each of you for trusting me with your child during my leadership. The memories that were made, the friendships that were formed and watching your child grow this year has been joyful. Thank you for the memories! You have left footprints on my heart and I will always remember my time here at Cypress. Although, I may not be at 4200 Kimber Drive next year, please continue to keep me posted on your family updates. I would love to know how the soccer game, dance competitions, softball and more is going with each of these sweet cubs. Once again thank you for all the memories!
