Jensen J-Hawk Weekly Bulletin

Thank you so much to the great idea from our PTO to have an assembly to honor our Urbandale PD. Eight officers were able to join us for the event and brought their special friend and K-9, Luke. Officer Brooks talked about the PD and how they work to keep people safe, and the fun events they offer for kids and families. Then, Officer Wehr shared about Luke's work as a PD dog. We wrapped up the assembly with a gift from our PTO on behalf of Jensen Elementary to the police officers filled with grab'n'go snacks. The students had made cards for all officers as well, and those were given to the officers present. It was a really great event!

This week's Jensen superheroes were rewarded for being RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, SAFE, and KIND.
